En bons geeks que nous sommes mon frère & moi avons visité l’exposition Game Story – Une histoire du jeu vidéo au mois de Novembre au Grand Palais à Paris ♥
Because we are good geeks, my bother & I went to see the Game Story – Une histoire du jeu vidéo exhibit (Game Story – A video game’s story) in November at the Grand Palais in Paris ♥
L’exposition était géniale! A la fois didactique & chronologique (de 1970 à nos jours)
Elle a été conçue par Philippe Dubois (président de l’association MO5.COM qui milite pour la préservation et la mise en valeur du patrimoine vidéoludique) & Jean-Baptiste Clais (chargé des collections de l’association & conservateur au Musée Guimet)
The exhibition was great! Educative & chronological at the same time (from 1970 to nowadays)
Conceived by Philippe Dubois (president of MO5.COM association in favour of the conservation & highliting of the video game heritage) & Jean-Baptiste Clais (responsible for the association’s collections & curator at the Guimet Museum)
On y découvre l’apparition du jeu vidéo au début des années 1970 qui n’a cessé d’évoluer & se perfectionner jusqu’à devenir de nos jours une industrie culturelle majeure mais sous un angle différent, à la fois esthétique & culturel
We discover the birth of video game at the beginning of the 70s & its evolution & improvement until becoming nowadays the major culture industry we do know. But through a different angle: cultural & esthetic at the same time
& le top: une multitude de bornes sur leur matériel d’époque permettent de (re)jouer à des jeux du plus ancien au plus récent~ Alexx Kid, Doom, FF VII, Super Mario 64, WOW… Enorme ♥
& the best: many stands with the real equipment allow playing (again) to various games from the oldest to the newest~ Alexx Kid, Doom, FF VII, Super Mario 64, WOW… Huge ♥

Après Cannes on continue les Jumping! Cette fois-ci nous étions à Monte-Carlo ma sœur & moi ♥

Mais hormis ce petit accrochage nous avons passé un excellent moment :)Edwina Alexander a remporté l’édition 2011 du Jumping International de Cannes avec Itot du Chateau! Une très belle prestation!
But except this little trouble we had an excellent time :)

Puis nous avons profité du week-end ensoleillé avec notre super hôtel, la piscine, la plage privée, le spa du Martinez où j’ai eu droit à un massage divin ainsi qu’un peu de shopping dans les rues de Cannes…
Then we enjoyed the sunny week-end with our great hotel, the pool, the private beach, the spa du Martinez where I had an exquisite massage & some shopping in the streets of Cannes…
Vivement le prochain Jumping! Promis je ferai attention aux crottes énormes des chevaux ;)
Can’t wait for the next Jumping! & I swear I’ll be careful with the horses’ dirts ;)
