Test Style: How Long would You Survive in a Horror Movie?
Expo Style: Tim Burton
In July, for our 3rd Anniversary me & my Fiancé went to see the retrospective Tim Burton at the Cinémathèque Française in Paris
Tim Burton was born on August, 25th 1958 in Burbank, USA. He’s a film director with a particular aura who evolves in a fairy tale & colored world & endowed with an abundant imagination. His films are the ones of an early cinemagoer, inspired with horror movies. The term « burtonian » was invented for him as a reference to a « dark or clear-cut or weird or all three at the same time world! »
The exhibition is ending with a very big set of scribbled paper napkins from restaurants & hotels. So funny & so cute :)
This retrospective was inevitable! A real dive in the phantasmagorical world of Tim Burton populated with hilarious monsters from all kind with its fun & creativity stuck somewhere between childhood & death, comic & drama. We just loved it o(^▽^)o
